In the dictionary, the word ‘communication’ has a number of meanings including ‘an exchange of ideas’ and ‘to reveal something new’. Well, the Kirk Session decided that Broxburn Parish Church might benefit from having a group whose remit was to examine our current and future forms of communication.
In our first two meetings we discussed who we communicate with, how we communicate and how we might improve on that. In fact, one early example of improved communication is this website you are viewing!
We have also looked at a wide range of topics including church noticeboards, flyers for schools and a church logo. However, communication can only be successful if it is two-way and so we would welcome any suggestions from you. You might even like to join our small group that meets in the manse.
We’d love YOUR input so please speak to either myself or Terry if you are interested.
